Why This Programme Exists

In January 2024, I suffered a cardiac arrest while exercising at a weight-loss programme in Chiang Mai.

My heart stopped for twelve minutes.

A fellow guest found me and, together with a passing Thai man named Khun Sunny, a complete stranger who knew CPR, kept me alive until the paramedics arrived. What followed was seven weeks in hospital, a double heart bypass, and the long process of learning to walk again.

I had spent 30 years building a career across Asia. I had tried every diet. I had made every excuse. And I had finally decided to do something about it, only to nearly die in the process.

The Blueprint was born from the belief that the programme I attended should have been safer. The lessons I learned during recovery, about movement, nutrition, sleep, and what it really takes to change, felt too important to keep to myself.

So I created the programme I wish I had found years earlier.

Not everyone arrives ready for the full programme, and that is perfectly fine.

If your partner, spouse, or travel companion would like to join you at Baan Asan without taking part in the structured Blueprint, an accompanying rate is available.

Accompanying guests share a room with their programme partner and enjoy full use of the villa, including the pool, gym, beach, and gardens, as well as lunch together each day, Koh Samui airport transfers, and a place in the open group activities such as yoga and morning walks.

It is, by any measure, a remarkable place to spend two weeks or a month. Many accompanying partners find that simply being in the environment, the food, the routine, and the energy of the group, is quietly transformative in its own right.

Wake naturally. Early morning walk along the beach or yoga beneath the palms.

Breakfast, fresh, nutritious, prepared by your private chef. The start of your Blueprint for Nutrition.
9:30am
Morning session, guided movement tailored to your current fitness level. Walking, swimming, light strength work, or stretching. Always safe. Always purposeful.
12:30pm
Lunch. Rest. Time to read, reflect, or simply sit by the pool and watch the sea.
3:00pm
Afternoon session, a mix of structured activity, one-to-one check-ins, group conversation, or time in the private gym.
6:00pm
Sunset. The best part of every day at Baan Asan.
7:00pm
Dinner. Shared, relaxed, and always delicious.
9:00pm
Wind down. Sleep earlier than you have in years.
